Transaction ID - A system generated unique reference number against each transaction that can be retained as transaction identification.

Reference/ Biller Id - ID that is given as a reference or identification of a specific transaction.

2. How to open a MeghnaPay Account?

- You can open MeghnaPay Account instantly by Self-registration through MeghnaPay Mobile App. Just download MeghnaPay App From Google Play Store or Apple App Store and Sign Up to open account by capturing your own live photo and personal NID card. Also, Customers will be able to open their MeghnaPay account by using debit card of their existing Meghna bank account through Mobile App.

You can also visit any MEGHNA BANK Branches or MeghnaPay Agent Point with both original and photocopy of your Photo ID and one copy of lab print passport size photograph (if required).

3. Who can open a MeghnaPay Account?

- Anyone with the age of 18 years or above with a valid Photo ID as Bangladeshi citizen.

- Your MeghnaPay Account number is your mobile number which you have registered and mentioned in your KYC.

5. What are the necessary documents for registration?

- No. Bank account is not mandatory to avail MeghnaPay Account services.

  • By clicking on the Holding option at Land Development TAX registration panel, customer will find three options - Objection, Online Payment and Token Generate. Customer is required to click on “Token Generate” option to generate payment Token. To register for Land Development TAX click here
  1. Where can I get the token number after generating the token?
  • You will receive token number via SMS at your registered mobile number.
  1. When the token will be expired?
  • After 72 hours or three days of generating, the token will be expired.
  1. Is the generated token renewable?
  • Payment can only be made once with a single token number, not more than once.
  1. Can customer pay land development TAX by MeghnaPay without registering online?
  • No, customers need to register online & generate token for online payment.
  1. What information is required for Land Development TAX Payment through MeghnaPay?
  • To pay Land Development TAX through MeghnaPay, customer needs only “Payment Token” number.
  1. What is the Service charge applicable for Land Development Tax payment through MeghnaPay?
  • 1% of the transaction amount (minimum Tk 5 or maximum Tk 25 whichever is higher) from MeghnaPay Customer Wallet and MeghnaPay Agent Points.
