Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla

Chairman

Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla is a recognized scholar in Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence and principal of Uttar Badda Islamia Kamil Madrasa. He is a Ph.D holder in “Micro-credit and zakat in alleviation of poverty: a comparative analysis” under department of Da’wah and Islamic Studies from Islamic University, Kustia. He also studied Arabic language and Islamic culture from King Saud University, Riyadh where he was awarded Gold Medal for his outstanding academic record.

Dr. Mohammad Monzur-E-Elahi

Dr. Mohammad Manzur-e-Elahi is a renowned Islamic orator at national and international level. He is an Associate Professor of National University of Bangladesh. He received his PhD degree from Islamic University of Madinah, KSA as well as he completed his graduation and post-graduation from the same.

Dr. Muhammad Saifullah

Dr. Muhammad Saifullah is a Faqih member in different Islamic Banks & Finance industries. He is also an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies of Asian University of Bangladesh. He has completed his PhD, Masters & Bachelor in Islamic Law (Shari’ah) from Islamic University of Madinah, KSA.

Md. Fariduddin Ahmed

Md. Fariduddin Ahmed is considered one of the pioneers of the development of Islamic banking in Bangladesh. He is a former MD and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Exim Bank Limited. Mr. Fariduddin Ahmed was also associated with the establishment of Jaiz Bank PLC in Nigeria.

Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain

Dr. M. Mahabbat Hossain is a Faculty Member of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management and an Islamic Finance Expert. He has completed BBA, MBA & Ph.D from Rajshahi University. Mr. Mahabbat also received Professional degree in Certified Shari’ah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) & Certified Islamic Professional Accountants (CIPA) from AAOIFI, Manama, Bahrain.

Sohail R K Hossain

Mr. Sohail R. K. Hussain is a Managing Director and CEO of Meghna Bank PLC. before that he served The City Bank Limited as Managing Director & CEO from November 2013 to January 2019. Mr. Hussain brings with him over 30 years of experiences and expertise in Corporate, SME, Green, Retail and infrastructure financing. He is a pioneer in digitalization, redefining strategies, merger & acquisition, advisory, and structured finance transactions.
