This App offers the below mentioned services which will be availed by Meghna Pay Customer only:
To register Meghna Pay account, the Applicant shall be personally and solely responsible to provide his/her own registered mobile number, own photo and valid NID (National ID). The Applicant will also be liable to assure his/her personal information and own photo liveliness for Meghna Pay Self-Registration procedure. The Applicant must keep his/her eyes open, a portion of both ear visible, must not wear any sunglass and keep the facial expression natural/normal while taking photo. The background while taking photo should not be too bright. While register for Meghna Pay account, you further acknowledge that MGBL or Meghna Pay will preserve all the information and will maintain strict confidentiality relating to the information of the Applicant and for any other irregularity, MGBL has the right to block the account as per Bangladesh Bank directives, regulations and circulars.
To use Meghna Pay services you must register as Meghna Pay Customer Account (in active and physical status) and you have to input your mobile number which is registered as Meghna Pay customer account. You will be solely responsible for the activities done through this App using your PIN and it will be considered that you are using this App by yourself in your individual capacity. You can use this App only for personal purpose and any unlawful business or commercial activity using this App is strictly prohibited. MGBL shall not be liable for any loss that you may incur in case of any unauthorized use of this App, your PIN or account either with or without your knowledge by any third party
Securing your Meghna Pay PIN and OTP:
The Applicant shall be solely and personally responsible for maintaining and ensuring the maximum secrecy and security of his/her Meghna Pay PIN and MGBL shall not be held liability for any fraud and/or loss borne by the Applicant as a result of the misuse of PIN due to User’s negligence and/or breach of PIN secrecy or privacy of Meghna Pay. The User/Applicant must not share the PIN with anyone under any circumstances whatsoever. In case of any apprehension of misuse of the PIN, the User must change the PIN immediately. Please never share the PIN and OTP to anyone. Meghna Bank Limited or Meghna Pay will never ask for your PIN or OTP.
If the User/Applicant forgets his/her PIN or wants to change the same, the User/Applicant may reset or change the PIN through procedures specified by clicking on Forgot PIN menu, or calling Meghna Bank Contact Center (Helpline 16735).
In the event; if the User inputs wrong PIN multiple times than usually allowed by Meghna Pay, his/her account shall be temporarily blocked by Meghna Pay until the User contacts MGBL Contact Center to reset new PIN.
The Applicant/User shall be personally and solely responsible for each individual transaction, for any false input given by the User/Applicant or for transferring any amount of money to any other Meghna Pay account in pursuance of any sort of inducement or fraudulent activity.
Fees and Charges:
Meghna Bank Limited reserves the right to determine all service fees and/or maintenance charges (including other applicable charges) for availing mobile financial services from time to time as approved by Bangladesh Bank and such fees as may be incurred will be debited from the Meghna Pay account.
You hereby acknowledge that you will comply with the necessary guidelines of Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012 and Anti-Terrorism Act, 2009 along with all other relevant laws of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Bank directives, regulations and circulars as applicable in regard to your use of Meghna Pay you further acknowledge that you will not misuse the App by conducting any of the prohibited activities, unlawful activities or transactions.

You agree that you will receive notification through this App. The phone number that you provide to open Meghna Pay account must be active and stay in your possession as we may request information for verification purpose by contacting you over the phone. Your voice and conversation with MGBL over the phone may be recorded for future reference.
MGBL will maintain 24/7 Contact Center Service for assisting valued customers and managing the complaints lodged by the customers. The Customer(s) can lodge complaints by calling directly or through this App to the Contact Center (Helpline 16735)
Representations and Warranties:
By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
License Grant & Restrictions
All contents included on this App, such as texts, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital download, data compilations, and software, is the property of MGBL and protected by Bangladesh and International Copyright Laws.
Intellectual Property Rights:
The service and the App may be subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the internet including the device used by you. MGBL is not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, damage or losses resulting from such problems.
Personal Data Protection:
You agree and consent to MGBL or Meghna Pay using and processing your personal data for the purposes and in the manner as identified hereunder. For the purposes of this Agreement, “personal data” means information about you, from which you are identifiable, including but not limited to your name, NID number, Driving License number, passport number, address, gender, date of birth, email address, any information about you which you have provided to MGBL in KYC.
MGBL will maintain strict confidentiality relating to information of User and his/her transactions. However, you acknowledge that MGBL shall have the right to monitor your account usage and may disclose personal information to any of the following authorities:
Other Rights and Limitations:
You shall not permit or aid others to translate, reverse engineering, decompile, update, modify, reproduce, duplicate, copy, distribute or otherwise disseminate all or any part of the App, or extract or attempt to extract source code from the App. The App is licensed as a single product; you shall not separate its component parts for any purpose. Upon identification of such attempt or use of your identity to attempt such act may result in legal action by MGBL.
MGBL shall take necessary steps to conduct sanction screening before or after account opening. For any discrepancy regarding the information provided by the customer, MGBL shall take all reasonable measures as per Bangladesh Bank directives, regulations and circulars as applicable.
These Terms & conditions and its performance shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
